Do you like your folk music with a modern indie twist? If so, then India Thieriot’s songs are for you!

Ride It Out is the first track we’ve had the chance to check out from this American singer-songwriter, but I’m hoping it won’t be our last! It’s a little samey at times, but India’s vocals are gorgeous enough to carry the track along to its satisfying conclusion. In terms of the instrumentation, the main melody is performed by a rhythmically strummed acoustic guitar, with the occasional piano and stringed flourishes also present at times.
