Amber T is an East Grinstead-based singer songwriter who has featured on this blog a few times now. She first came to our attention in the autumn of 2022 and most recently we featured her track Why Try. Her latest shows us her rock side. It’s called Sugar & Spice.

It seems we have moved on from the “sad girl summer” archetype, with Amber T on the vanguard of celebrating “sad girl winter”. Sugar & Spice is the perfect anthem for it, combining cinematic strings with lively pop rock. As ever, Amber’s vocals are the centrepiece, deliciously emotional and transcendently soaring in the chorus.
As a songwriter and a performer, Amber T has everything. It’s incredible considering her young age. She’s definitely one to keep an eye on.
