Edie Yvonne’s 2023 has been prolific and she’s featured on this blog no less than eight times these past twelve months. She says farewell to the year with something a little different – a cover. Originally recorded by Blind Melon, this is Edie’s version of No Rain.

Giving her own characteristic twist on an underrated classic, Edie’s version is slowed down and stripped-back. Her vocals do the sentiments of the original justice, while staying true to her own captivating sound. It’s easy to forget just how young Edie is given the talent she’s displayed this year. She truly is a star in the making, and has to go down as one of our discoveries of 2023.
