Discovery: The Naked Grace Missionaries

The Naked Grace Missionaries are a UK-based act featuring Steinsdotter, Fayann Smith and Rob Burnham. They’ve just come to my attention with the release of their new track that takes aim at dogmatic religion. It’s called All For Love.

By Graeme Smith

Sadly, religion is sometimes used to justify extreme views and actions and that’s the topic that The Naked Grace Missionaries dwell on with their latest track. Opening gentle and stripped-back, it draws you into a false sense of security before its harmonised vocals deliver the song’s message. There’s something of a throwback to its composition, yet it also feels entirely fresh. It’s simply breathtaking.

The Naked Grace Missionaries are influenced by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Pearl Jam. Fans of any of those artists definitely need to check All For Love out. You can do so below.
