We recently discovered Backstrom – now he’s back with another amazing folk song, titled It’s Too Late feat. Bart Topher (Remix).

By Jane Howkins

The collaborations with Backstrom seem to be working exceedingly well, and this latest track might just be my favourite of the two I’ve heard so far! It’s got a typical old school folk vibe, mixed in with some occasional Americana and country moments (in particular, the gorgeous slide guitar that pervades the piece). The rest of the instrumentation comes from a pretty acoustic guitar arpeggio and a steady beat, as the raw vocals add an extra sense of majesty to the piece.
