American composer Eric Heitmann has fast become one of my favourite classical pianists, and Midnight Walker shows exactly why he’s so beloved!
By Jane Howkins
Midnight Walker is another piece with a neoclassical edge, seeing Eric utilise an eerie piano motif that characterises the themes of the piece well. Whilst the piano provides the main backbone for the piece, a gorgeous string section appears after a while, building the music up into something utterly astounding here. The track breaks down a little in the middle of the piece, before raising the tension up once again, creating a hauntingly beautiful piece of music.
