Canadian singer-songwriter Kelly-Ann mixes a modern pop sensibility with an old school sound.

Overthinking is quite a mellow sounding track at first, opening with a pretty fingerpicked guitar arpeggio, reminiscent of the soulful music that emerged in the 60s and 70s. A bassline, drums and a gorgeous string section are added as the piece progresses, but the music never takes over the track, allowing Kelly-Ann’s amazing voice to really shine. And shine it does!
