Wait is, of course, a love song, but Annie’s approach to the topic sets her apart from the crowd. Delicate folk instrumentals create an intimate atmosphere and give plenty of space to the track’s descriptive, storytelling lyrics. Annie has a way with words that will melt the heart of even the most cynical of us (myself included). I’m looking forward to getting to know her music a lot better.
