Annie Anna returns with tale of nostalgia, Forget About Me.

Based in Tucson, Arizona, USA, singer songwriter Annie Anna has appeared on our blog a couple of times before. It was in February this year that her music first graced these pages thanks to her single Wait. I followed that up in May by sharing her track Fame.

The two cover the disparate topics of deep love and shallow vanity, and now her new single, Forget About Me, gives us a tale of childhood nostalgia. There’s a suitable wistfulness about its country-infused folk pop, and its story is beautifully emoted by Annie’s irresistibly charming vocals, especially during a soaring, delicate chorus.

Forget About Me was recorded at Annie’s home studio, and was self-produced with her on all instrumentals except the guitar swells (which were supported by Chris Molinari). It was mixed and mastered by Riley Corbin. You can give it a listen below.
