He does it pretty well on Drunk! At first listen, it sounds pretty typical of the singer-songwriter genre, although the vocals have a slightly rawer quality, full of soul and passion as they sing the emotional lyrics. The music is fairly minimalist for the most part, breaking off occasionally to allow the vocals to really shine through as the focal point. The guitar melodies in the background are lovely to behold though – why not give Drunk a go below?!
