London singer-songwriter Adam Wedd produces alternative pop songs that are rather different to the pop tunes normally heard on mainstream radio. His track pink dinosaurs is a great example of Adam’s soulful pop sound, making it a must listen for fans of the alt-pop scene.

You recently released a new song titled pink dinosaurs. What can you tell us about the track?
I wrote it in Sweden with a friend called Jimmy Lagnefors about a life not seeing your kids every day, but about the special moments you share together, be it on the phone, at the weekend, by post etc. It’s about ultimately just wanting your kids to know they are loved.
How has the reception to the track been so far, and where can it be purchased?
It’s received so much radio airplay in the UK, which has been surprising, as I didn’t write it for radio at all – I’m so pleased
Do you have any plans to release an album/EP anytime soon?
Oh yes, I’ve got plans to release 2 EPs in 2024, possibly 3.
Do you have any more singles lined up in the near future?
Yes, 3 more on the way!
Am I right in thinking you’ve had your music played on TV? Do you have any more television projects planned?
Yes a few times, I’m cooking up some exciting projects at the moment. I’m in conversation with a few people about my tunes being used in some TV stuff. I will keep you posted!
Your music has a folk-pop sound. What/who are you most influenced by when making music? What have you been listening to recently?
I love the art of a good story well told.
You’re from London. What is the local music scene like in your area?
London is one of THE most exciting cities in the world for playing live music, you can play over 100 open mic nights every day if you want to. But it’s also so tough to stand out for the same reason. Whilst the rest of the world is coming to London to make music, I’m heading out of the UK to play music!
Do you have anything else exciting coming up over the next few months?
Hopefully a 20 + date tour, I’m just trying to finalise everything. Where should I play?
Do you have any tour dates lined up for the UK?
Hopefully this autumn. I’m mostly getting booked to play in Germany at the moment .
Any last words for the fans?
I have so much music coming. I can’t wait to share it! Join my mailing list at adamweddmusic.com or my patreon to be first on the scene. I can’t wait to see you all out on the road!
