The Howlers’ music just keeps on getting better and better, as new release Cowboys Don’t Cry shows.

Cowboys Don’t Cry is a little more stripped-down than some of the other songs we’ve heard by the British indie band, using some beautiful acoustic guitar melodies as the main instrumentation. However, it’s not an entirely acoustic song, with the rhythm section building up higher on the anthemic chorus, which will draw you in straight away. It’s an incredibly heartfelt piece of work, and the vocals have a great deal of soul, crooning along to the music with ease.
