York Musical Theatre Company present the musical stage version of L.Frank Baum`s 1900 classic tale The Wizard of Oz at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre, York from the 22nd – 25th May 2024.

 The book was most famously brought to life by MGM in their 1939 double Oscar winning film, and who can forget the outstanding performance of Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale from Kansas who gets swept up in a Tornado and transported to the wonderful land of Oz. 

 YMTC`s version will be directed by Kathryn Addison with Musical Direction by John Atkin.
