Brooklyn-based rockers Superswell bring a heavy edge to these pages with their new track, Wax Poetic.

Wax Poetic sounds epic from the very start, bursting out of the seams with energy. The riffs sound really cool here, but it’s also pretty melodic at times. The verses use some nice little guitar motifs, before the heavier chorus kicks in, boosting the atmosphere of the piece. The vocals are pretty good too, they’re fairly smooth and soulful, rising up to a heavier feel on the chorus. My only qualm is the production is a little raw, drowning out the vocals a bit on the chorus. It’s still a great track though, so give it a go below!
