The last time we shared new music from Lexie Carroll was in 2022, so it’s great to finally welcome her back to these pages!

For those unaware, Lexie creates a form of modern folk music not unlike that of Phoebe Bridgers. However, evelyn is a unique piece of work and one that should captivate anyone into this style of music. It’s absolutely beautiful to behold, featuring some luscious little guitar melodies in the background, alongside a subtle string section. Lexie’s vocals are quiet yet strong, giving off a powerful sense of emotion as she sings along to the music in time.
