If you like your pop music with a modern singer-songwriter twist, then Boyce Avenue could be right up your street!

The American group have created something really beautiful on new tune, Oceans Away. It’s poppy at times, yet it never sounds too mainstream, which is a plus for me! Instead, the track introduces a folky singer-songwriter vibe into the mix. It’s also fairly minimalist at times, featuring a pretty guitar arpeggio that runs underneath the emotive lead vocals, allowing them to truly shine through. And shine they do, displaying a huge wealth of soul and emotion here.

If Oceans Away is anything to go by, we’ll definitely be sharing more music from Boyce Avenue in the near future!
