On Call of the Valkyries, The Missing Note teams up with Amy Wallace to produce something of outstanding beauty.

Call of the Valkyries is quite a slow song, building up steadily as the piece progresses. It’s probably best described as a neoclassical track, although it’s also rather ambient sounding at times, seeming utterly unique in the modern classical industry. As the music is raised up, a selection of angel-like vocal melodies and harmonies flow through, weaving expertly through the haunting sounds these two artists have created here.

A glorious crescendo is reached at the end – I can’t wait to hear more collaborations from The Missing Note and Amy Wallace in the future!
