Belper-based alternative rock band Paytron Saint have been featuring on these pages since 2022, and the last we heard from them was their EP Under Scary Houses released last summer.

Their new single Carmilla Roll is a philosophical one, reflecting on life with all its dirt and delight. As we’ve come to expect from the band, we are treated to poetic lyrics backed by an instrumental that feels both familiar and unfamiliar. The riffs hit hard and the emotion is high and never lets up, finally arriving at a passionate finish.
Paytron Saint are promising us a glut of new singles in the near future and I’m certainly looking forward to hearing them. Though it’s not been long, it’s been too long since I last shared any of their music.
You can check out Carmilla Roll below.
