Last year, Belper’s Paytron Saint committed to releasing one track a month throughout 2024. Eight months in, they’re showing no signs of slowing down.

Track eight in their run of releases is Got Milk?, a smouldering, hard rock number full of moody bass notes, big riffs and urgent drums. Cutting through it all is passionate, characterful vocals that deliver lyrics speaking of fear, uncertainty and unexpected change. A sense of healthy paranoia is infused in every word, wisely warning us away from the idea of quick fixes.

As always, Got Milk? was self-recorded at the band’s makeshift studio “The Chicken Coop.” It’s out now and you can give it a listen below.
