erotica is our first introduction to the British musician’s music, but we’re sure it won’t be our last taste! It’s a dreamy pop-rock song with a psychedelic vibe. The music has a stripped-down quality at first, seeing some lovely guitar melodies and arpeggios perform slowly underneath the steady bass and beat, as John sings over the top. Later on, the track turns into more of a heavy rock/metal tune, seeing the vocals rise up to an unholy shriek. It won’t be for everyone, but those into their more experimental music styles should get a kick out of erotica!
