I’m a big fan of the modern folk genre, so I was very excited to discover American singer-songwriter Leau!

Too Many Friends was written after a turbulent period in Leau’s life, and you can really feel the emotion within her lyrics as she sings about it on this track. It’s a modern folk song, seeing Leau sing in gorgeous style on top of the guitar melodies. It’s quite a slow piece, but it’s utterly beautiful to behold, making you feel everything sung about in the lyrics.
