Her Boots follows the typical country music theme of heartbreak, written about a cheating partner. Despite the melancholy themes, the lyrics are actually rather upbeat, fitting the music style well. The music has a bluesy country feel, seeing the American singer-songwriter integrate some cool guitar licks into the mix, creating something so catchy you’ll find it hard to get out of your head! The key change at the end is fantastic too, accentuating Effy’s wonderful vocals in glorious style!
