Canadian pianist Omar Raafat returns to these pages with a gorgeous new tune titled Somewhere Else.

It’s been almost two years since we last shared new music from Omar, so it’s great to finally get to hear Somewhere Else! It’s a pretty piece of neoclassical music that sounds absolutely beautiful. The main melody is provided by a haunting trickling piano melody, with the right hand performing some nice little motifs against the rhythmic left hand. However, there’s also a lovely string section present in the background, adding an extra piece of the musical puzzle into the mix. This is a must listen for classical fans!
