It’s been quite a while since we last shared music from Blair Dunlop, so Slipstream is very welcome indeed!

It’s probably best described as a pop-rock/soft rock song, although Slipstream also includes elements of folk and country, making for a lovely mix altogether. The main instrumentation comes from a slew of amazing guitar arpeggios ans notes, followed nicely by the sparse yet effective rhythm section. Blair’s vocals sound awesome here, filled to the brim with emotion – especially when those higher notes kick in on the chorus. I predict big things for Blair if this song is anything to go by – those strings are gorgeous too!
