Sheffield-based rock artist Mat Hook has been featuring on our blog since last Autumn and now he’s back with a new single and video, Bleed Me Dry.

The former Kartica member has now released three solo singles with Bleed Me Dry following Runaway Road and Alone You Go. His latest is infused with an equally strong sense of emotion as the other two as it mixes the melancholic with the bright and the anthemic to create a rock number that feels thoroughly British. Its lyrics will have you singing along in the chorus while you nod your head to its soft groove.
Bleed Me Dry sees Mat, once again, team up with producer Paul ‘Tufty’ Tufts who helped record the track. You can check out its video, which features a live performance, below.
