Canadian alt-rock group The Town Heroes have gained a lot of critical acclaim within the music industry over the years.

Hockey Fights shows why The Town Heroes are so loved – it’s a wonderful piece of music, although it’s definitely more of an indie-folk song than an alt-rock tune. Most of the instrumentation comes from a pretty, fingerpicked acoustic guitar melody, as the emotive vocals drift over the top, injecting the tune with a great deal of soul and passion. After a while, the drums and brass instrumentation kicks in, building the music up into a wonderful crescendo of beauty at the end. The Town Heroes are definitely heading for big things!
