Canada-based artist Wrené has been delighting us with her unique style since 2022 and her new video for her track Metamorphosis is no exception.

Wrené’s new video is deliberately provocative, challenging a society that’s built around the male gaze with every slightest hint of female nudity considered lewd or erotic. She reclaims her body in a sequence that sees her free herself from a metaphorical cocoon becoming fully realised.
The visuals beautifully combine with her experimental electronic song which brings her haunting vocals and Bjork-like dark pop sensibilities. Metamorphosis is a powerful track that truly showcases what Wrené is all about.
