Iser Conne are American Haloethl on vocals, and Japan’s Venxian on guitar. The pair bonded over a shared love of acts like Dream Theater, a love that transcended their mutual language barrier.
Drawing influence from surrealist horror and psychological suspense films, Leak is a cinematic track that opens slow and brooding with an isolated guitar riff before an atmospheric rock arrangement comes in. The stage is set nicely for some hard-hitting riffs and, finally, smouldering vocals that deliver visceral lyrics. It’s a track that goes through movements, and as listener you’re always left guessing what’s going to come next.
