Cairo Station, the Northern Ireland-based trio fronted by Cara Collins, are set to take the alternative rock world by storm if their debut single is anything to go by.

Joining Cara in the line-up are Felix McAuley on guitar and Ben Gribben on bass. The three are already selling out headline gigs, and their debut release Menace may well launch them. It’s an uncompromising track that opens big with some rumbling drums and powerful riffs. When the vocals come in, they grab you by the jugular with their understated strength, before the chorus slips everything up a gear.
