We only discovered Laura Alden a couple of months ago, and yet we already have an amazing new tune for you!

The British singer-songwriter has produced something really beautiful in Meant To. It’s a heartfelt modern folk song, reminding me a little of the sort of music that Phoebe Bridgers makes. The main guitar melody is simple yet effective, playing through the track with a lovely flowing quality, as the subtle percussion beats along in the background. However, whilst the music is delightful, it’s Laura’s vocals that truly stand out here, singing with a great deal of passion and emotion. I predict big things for Laura if she keeps this up!
