Strawflower is a really unique act – they’re a band from Los Angeles that mix a few different genres together in their music.

Personally, I felt that new song Television has elements of indie-pop, indie-rock and dream-pop, but the band also include psychedelic rock and surf rock in their ensemble at times. Television has some lovely little guitar motifs, running through the tune in a nice way, harking back to the glory days of the indie genre. The vocals have some cool effects on them, only serving to further the dreamy vibes even more. It’s a track with a lovely vibe, perfect for chilling to after a hard day at the office – give it a go below!
