Acclaimed Scottish songstress Barbara Dickson has added extra Pocklington date to her autumn tour, after the first show sold out in record time.
In these two special acoustic performances Dickson, and her pianist Nick Holland, will explore her catalogue of songs in the intimate and historic setting of All Saints Church.
The shows, on Friday 4th October (sold-out) and Wednesday 16th October (on sale now), are the second collaboration between All Saints and the Pocklington based Hurricane Promotions and follows on from a sold-out event in December with BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winners, The Young’uns. Two further shows are due to be announced later this month.
A spokesperson from All Saints Church commented “We are always delighted to see the church used for community events. Churches historically have been the social hubs of their communities, bringing people together for fellowship, entertainment, and the sharing of ideas and opinions. This concert wraps those three things up in one great package.”
