We’ve featured British singer-songwriter Matt Saxton a few times over the last few years, and I’m always on the lookout for new music from him, as it never fails to impress! I was delighted to discover that Matt had recently released a new single titled The Edge Of Things. I’m pleased to say that older fans will not be disappointed by this amazing track, and newcomers to Matt’s work should also fine plenty to love too. Let’s dive in!

The Edge Of Things is quite a pretty sounding song, starting out with a fairly slow pace, as the bass and drums throb along nicely against the dreamy guitars. The guitars have a really cool sound here, accentuated by the occasional horn melodies that burst through the piece, injecting an awesome energy into the music. Matt’s vocals are impressive as ever, full of emotion as he croons along to the music, eventually repeating the titular refrain as the chorus creeps up on you. It’s a lovely piece of work, and I can’t wait to hear what Matt comes up with next time around – keep your eyes peeled!
