Scottish producer Esdaile State is a new discovery of mine, but his music is so good I’m sure I’ll be sharing it again soon!

You may have guessed the style of music Esdaile State makes from the title of this track – Dub Selecta (Holiday). It’s a song that combines moments of reggae, dub and ska into one catchy package, perfect for listening to in the last moments of summer. It’s got an old school sound, but also includes some more modern elements, making for a really inventive sounding piece of music. It’s also largely instrumental in nature, but the music is so glorious on Dub Selecta (Holiday) that this shouldn’t put you off – why not give it a go below and see if the rhythm gets you as much as it did me?
