Norwegian rockers Tidal Water have been featured in these pages a few times now, returning with new tune Defiance (Radio Edit).

This version of the original Defiance tune is rather different, cutting the runtime down from a shade over seven minutes to around four and a half minutes. However, I would say it’s the definitive version, capturing everything brilliant about the original tune without compromising on quality. The track has some heavy riffs, but there’s also some interesting clean guitar licks present in the background, mixing a few different styles in a nice way. The production quality is a little raw, but this actually adds a really cool sound to the tune – the vocals have a proper realness about them too. Why not check out the Radio Edit below?
