North Yorkshire’s Two Strikes return with personal new track, Run Away.

We featured North Yorkshire rock band Two Strikes on this blog for the first time last month thanks to their ’90s and ’00s rock inspired debut single Control. The track impressed me with its powerful style and emotional lyrics.
Their new single Run Away also tugs at the heartstrings telling a melancholic tale of loss and grief through a smouldering alternative rock arrangement. The vocals are, once again, passionate in their introspection and things take a cathartic turn in a soaring chorus.
It’s another striking effort from a local band that are on the up.
