If you like your indie rock, we have a treat for you! The Casbahs are a new indie band hailing from the North East, having released a fantastic track in the form of Roman Numerals, with a cool video to boot!

The indie genre has been having something of a revival of late, so it can sometimes be hard to wade through the sea of songs to find something decent, but I’m pleased to announce that The Casbahs are the cream of the crop! Roman Numerals mixes elements of classic and modern indie together, featuring some gorgeous, jangly guitar melodies that roll through the piece in a gorgeous way. The vocals have a soulful sound too, working well with the upbeat rhythm section and guitar motifs, blending nicely on the chorus.

It’s a really well written tune too, made complete with a gorgeous little guitar solo towards the end of the tune. If you like your indie rock, you really ought to check out Roman Numerals. The lyric video is well with a watch too – find it below:
