This Lonesome Paradise catch our attention with philosophical new track, Into The Ether.
By Graeme Smith
“The ether” is a concept not often explored in music. We describe tracks as “ethereal” but never really delve into the concept itself. This Lonesome Paradise found it important to, discovering a place that says goodbye to our earthly boundaries, and lets the mind and spirit roam in nothingness.
Sonically, the track represents this through slow, echoing notes, a steady groove and poetic lyrics courtesy of band leader E Ray Béchard. His grizzly vocals are paired with the soft, ghostly harmonies of Jordin Bordeaux in a stand out chorus that will give you goosebumps.
The track features on The Lonesome Paradise’s new album, Luna Nocturna, out now via Bad Vibes Good Friends. You can buy it as a digital album or on vinyl through Bandcamp.
