A lot of communication transcends language so, even if you’re not a French-speaker, it’s clear what Amélie is expressing in Là où la tempête. The track oozes with a wistful, self-reflection, set against a backdrop of lonesome but lively country folk. Amélie’s vocals are simply breath-taking. It’s hard not to fall in love a little bit while listening.
