Album Review: Mt Fog – Spells of Silence

Mt Fog, the recording name of Seattle, USA-based folktronica artist Carolyn B, has been making quite a splash on the underground music scene. Frequently featured on her local radio station and selected as a grantee of the 2022 Church of Noise, there’s a buzz surrounding her. A few single releases this year have accumulated in the release of her second album. It’s called Spells of Silence.

Album Review: Gillian Rae Perry – Gilligil

Gillian Rae Perry is one of my favourite discoveries I’ve made through running this blog. At the end of last year, her brilliant concept album Lost Children first caught my attention. She then followed it up with the beautifully eloquent A Reminder earlier this year. The track features on her new album Gilligil which I absolutely had to listen to. Here’s my track by track review.

Album Review: Luna Keller – Prophecies and Silver Linings

Luna Keller is a Cologne, Germany-based acoustic folk singer songwriter who we’ve been enjoying the music of since the end of 2020 when Jane shared her track Prophecy. The release of that single, plus all the ones to come since have culminated in her debut album Prophecies and Silver Linings. When I saw she had released it, I knew I had to give it a listen.
