Electronic duo &Tilly reinvent a Christmas classic with their unique take on Deck the Halls (‘Tis the Season).

A Prague, Czechia-based duo, &Tilly previously featured on this blog when they joined forces with Mats Dernánd for duet Liar. Their latest release is Deck the Halls (‘Tis the Season), their take on the famous Christmas carol.
&Tilly take the bright and joyous feel of the traditional tune and turns it on its head, giving us something slow and haunting. The spirit of the song is not lost though, rather reinvented. As the track progresses, it becomes more bombastic, finally arriving at a delightful crescendo.
