Mats Dernánd is a Swedish singer songwriter who has featured on our blog a couple of times now. No stranger to a duet, I first discovered him when he teamed up with York Calling favourite Luna Keller for their uplifting track We’ll Be Together. Now he’s collaborating with Czech couple &Tilly. Their new track and video is called Liar.

The track opens with Tilly’s delicate vocals against a dreamy pop soundscape. They are instantly arresting, and when Mats vocals join hers, you know you’re in for something special with Liar. &Tilly are renowned for the poetic lyrics and that’s what we’re treated to here.
