Nashville, USA-based classic rock band Roxercat recently hit my radar through their track Crime earlier this month. Now, they’re already back on these pages with another monster song and video. It’s called 2020.

2020 gives us a softer side of the Roxercat sound, with a laidback, slow building intro and a dreamy vibe. Being about the most uncertain year in recent history, though, there are twists and turns, and the arrangement quickly gets more vibrant and urgent, before getting bluesy and psychedelic when the vocals come in.

What’s really cool about 2020, though, is its video, which is AI generated. It depicts an otherworldly place that’s reminiscent to our own but peopled with dragons and monsters. You can check out the video below.
