Don’t Want To Get Used to Being Without You is the new, long distance collaboration between Prague, Czechia-based &Tilly and Fremantle/Perth, Australia-based Sea Swallow.

&Tilly have appeared on this blog twice before. In 2023, I shared their team up with Swedish singer songwriter Mats Dernánd before following that up with post about their Christmas single, Deck the Halls (‘Tis the Season) in 2024. Now they’re back with a collaboration with Australia’s Sea Swallow.

Don’t Want to Get Used to Being Without You is a folk love duet about a relationship between two girls. A gentle acoustic guitar arrangement sets the tone while Tilly and Claire’s vocals work beautifully together. While delicate emotion is infused in its every note, It’s the lyrics that will really tug on your heartstrings, particularly during a powerful chorus full of longing.
