However, if you’re not a fan of the usual Christmas fare, then don’t worry, as Xmas Sox is remarkably different from most of the Xmas songs around at the moment. It’s probably best described as an indie-pop song, with more than a hint of folk present too. It’s actually quite a melancholic-sounding tune, and it’s not too overly Christmassy that you can’t listen to Xmas Sox at other times of the year either, making for a rare Xmas song that is palatable all year round.
