Anacy is becoming a familiar face on this blog and she’s always welcome back. Her latest track gives us a twist for the season.

In 2024, the South African indie pop artist has appeared on our blog a couple of times. Over the summer, it was her vulnerable track Hot Mess that introduced her to us. In November, she was back with a groovy love song, Tattooed To My Heart.
Her Christmas release is also a love song, but without a happy ending. A tale of holiday heartbreak, Frosty is a gentle and emotional number. Starting with twinkling keys, we soon get Anacy’s distinct vocal. It floats in, ghost-like before the track’s full cinematic arrangement comes in.
