Abraham Lincoln And Me has that classic retro country/Americana vibe that I’ve come to love from Phil’s music, delivered with a good dose of attitude here. The track features a hillbilly backbeat and some cool clattering guitar motifs, alongside a bluesy harmonica that follows the vocal melody nicely throughout. The tuba also provides the bassline here, making for a really unusual (in a good way!) style and sound that will keep you coming back for more, long into the future. Keep your eyes peeled for more from Phil in the near future!
