Los Angeles, USA-based artist Matya has featured a few times before on our blog. In September 2023, she burst onto our radar through her counterculture track and video, Nobody’s Home, and we’ve followed that up with two more shares of her music.

Her new release is Night Light, a cinematic track and video which acts as a love letter to artistry. The video, filmed in Paris, France follows Matya as a street performer, dancing through the city in search of inspiration. It pairs beautifully with a track that gives us a retro pop groove and some scintillating, romantic lyrics.
