Matya‘s new track Nosebleeds provides gauze for a world haemorrhaging with hysteria and polarisation.

Matya’s music first hit these pages almost exactly a year ago when I was blown away by her track and video Nobody’s Home. A share of her single Get Your Attention followed earlier this year.

Nosebleeds completes a trio of corkers, bringing together an edgy pop rock track with a video that’s full of visceral narrative. The track provides a bittersweet soundtrack to the horror pastiche of the video, and Matya beautifully articulates the emotion of its message of a world that is becoming increasingly absurd.

The track is the lead from Matya’s upcoming EP Like The Roses, So It Goeses, set from release 5 October 2024. Nosebleeds is out now and you can check out its video below.
