Hailing from down the A1079 in Hull, Cutty are a band who are new to our radar through their self-reflective new alt pop track, Ain’t Talking.

The track takes its time getting into its groove through a slow-burning, chanting intro before a bass-heavy verse brings the emotion. Laidback yet expressive vocals hold the attention while the vibrant instrumental invites us to let it all go. As the track progresses, the twists keep coming. I’ve not heard much like it.
Cutty are the duo of singer and artist Amy Precious and multi-instrumentalist and producer Kev La Kat. They met at Dive HU5, bonding over a shared love for ’90s trip-hop.
